Encouraging Words

This morning, I read some encouraging words from Psalm 4. I love encouraging words. The pictures are from my back porch, which is one of my favorite places to spend some morning time in the Bible.

"Answer me when I call, O God of my righteousness.
You have given me relief when I was in distress.
Be gracious to me and hear my prayer."

"But know that the Lord has set apart the godly for himself; the Lord hears when I call to him."

"...put your trust in the Lord."

"You have put more joy in my heart, than they have when their grain and wine abound."

"In peace I will both lie down and sleep, for you alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety."

ps. I am usually more of a ... go with the flow kinda girl, than a theme kinda girl ~ but this year I decided to have a theme for my patio. It is marigolds and birds and of course, lots of lime green.

  4. Loving your porch! (and the adorable new yellow pot that looks suspiciously like the adorable blue pot on my porch.) wish I was there to have tea. Or you were here. Either would do just fine.

We saw our sweet Sophie off yesterday, she was not a bit nervous and so excited to go. Can't wait until Saturday and the open house. It looks so wonderful in all the pictures they have been sharing. Have a great week!
